Central Florida pastor, Chris Walker, has started a petition at change.org to encourage Governor Rick Scott’s support of a bill ensuring pastors will not be forced to perform same sex marriages against their consciences. Rep. Scott Plakon is drafting this Pastor Protection Act.
The petition was launched on July 1 and already has nearly 13,000 signatures. Of course, one has to wonder if the five unelected supremes will override our Constitutional democracy and create a right to force clergy to perform marriage ceremonies against their will. Sign the petition HERE
