On Twitter, MSNBC Contributor Ridicules Black Conservatives

MSNBC contributor, Miami Herald columnist and Democrat blogger, Joy Reid (read her bio) took to twitter to isolate and ridicule two black people at Mitt Romney’s victory party in Michigan, last night. Ms. Reid, who happens to be black as well, repeatedly singled out a black man and black women at the event and encouraged others to join her in their mockery.

As the White House promotes an anti-bullying campaign and the President calls for a more civil discourse in politics, it’s amazing that black conservatives are still being targeted mercilessly by black democrats!

Ms. Reid’s attack on the black couple is an excellent example of Saul Alinsky’s tactic of picking the target, freezing it, personalizing it and polarizing it. Ms. Reid also applied Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals tactic #6: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.”

The following is a sample of her tweets that she blasted out during Mitt Romney’s speech last night after winning the Michigan primary”

In her first tweet, Ms. Reid, spying a black man in the crowd, publicly singles him out on Twitter.

In her second tweet, she starts the ridicule. I am not sure if she singles out all black people who wear sunglasses or just ones who are not democrats. She also adds a hashtag to her tweet in an attempt to draw more people in and perhaps start a twitter trend.

Ms Reid continues her ridicule.

Another person (@JayScottSmith) joins Ms. Reid to help her ridicule the man. She responds “ROFLMAO” (which means Rolling On The Floor Laughing My A** Off) to his derogatory comment that the black man is (Romney’s) driver.

Ms. Reid also retweets a tweet from @fortis79 that extends the ridicule to the black woman in the crowd.

At this point, it looks like Ms. Reid takes a picture of her television (but I am no expert, so I cannot verify this) to capture a picture of the lady (upper right corner of the photo) so that she can post it on twitter.

Clearly, Ms. Reid is upset that these two individuals are part of the 5% of black Americans that do not support the Democrat Party.  Her attack on these people for supporting a republican is nothing new. Black people who stray from the Democrat Party are regularly intimidated and ridiculed by other black people.

Star Parker, a black American who spent seven years on welfare, wrote a book entitled Uncle Sam’s Plantation: How Big Government Enslaves America’s Poor and What We Can Do About It that shows how the policies put forth by the Democrat Party encourage dependency and destroys communities. In the last part of the video below, Ms. Parker says being a black conservative is “social suicide” for her within the black community.

Pastor C. L. Bryant is another black conservative who is speaking out. A former N.A.A.C.P. radical, Pastor Bryant now realizes that we must run from the “economic slavery” created by government entitlements. In his movie The Runaway Slave, he encourages “those still on the plantation to runaway”. Watch the powerful trailer below:

  2. ROTFLMBAO!

Star Parker, who owes her LIFE to government programs, now seeks to destroy those same programs?

Rev. CL Bryant calls other Blacks “slaves” for voting Democrat, yet you consider Joy Reid’s commentary “ridicule?”

    Really?

How many LIVE and in PERSON African-Americans have you talked about this with?
