The Senate set to ratify a UN Treaty that jeopardizes Parental Rights

From Patriot Voices:

The Senate is getting ready to move on ratification of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).  Within 48 hours, the Senate may vote on CRPD, so we have to keep the pressure on to stop this treaty.  If it is approved, it could threaten our nation’s sovereignty and our rights as parents to decide what’s in the best interest of our children.

On Monday, Karen, Bella and I joined Senator Mike Lee from Utah and Michael Farris from the Home School Legal Defense Association for a news conference discussing why this legislation is so deeply flawed. If you aren’t sure why CRPD is wrong for America, please watch this video.

And if you haven’t already done so, please sign our petition so we can rally our voices together that this treaty is wrong for America and wrong for our kids. You can also visit our CRPD page for more details on exactly what the Senate is doing on this treaty.

Keep up the fight,

Rick Santorum
