Is Your Church Anti-Israel?

There is a growing anti-Israel sentiment in U.S. Christian churches. Christians who support Israel’s right to protect her people, need to stay vigilant in their churches.

Ynetnews.com reports “all five of the mainline [protestant] denominations in the United States – Methodist, Presbyterian, Episcopalian, Lutheran and United Church of Christ – have debated or adopted policies intended to divest or boycott Israel”. In fact, during the upcoming General Conference of the United Methodist Church that will be held in Tampa, Florida on April 25th anti-Israel actions in the form of “boycott, divestment or sanctions” are expected to be brought to the floor for a vote. The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church USA will also consider similar anti-Israel action in June. To read more, go HERE

  1. While the Episcopal Church may have debated divestment at some point, the church’s leader unequivocally said last week that the Episcopal Church will not engage in divestment. If it ever did, though, I would bolt in a heartbeat.
