In Orlando, where Occupy activists have an affinity for
hopscotch , er, writing in chalk on sidewalks as well as on public buildings and statues, a tweet recently displayed Occupy Orlando’s “solidarity” with “Palestine”.
Here is a closer look at the picture posted by the Twitter account registered to “Younis”.
The profile of “Younis” describes him as a person of Ethiopian and Sudanese heritage who supports “Peace, Love & Respect”.
Let’s hope Mayor Teresa Jacobs returns to her senses and have law enforcement remove the Occupy camp at the Orange County Administration Building. Local tea party activists have always had to apply for permits and pay the fees associated with them for lawful assembly. Occupy should be made to comply with these same codes.
You can contact Mayor Jacobs by email at email@example.com or by phone at 407-836-7370
