This week, Senator Nelson came to Orlando via Air Force One with Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and President Obama on a fundraising tour via Air Force One. The National Taxpayers Union estimates the cost to the taxpayers per hour to operate Air Force One is $181,757.
Nelson and his liberal DC buddies attended a fundraiser behind the guarded gates of the exclusive Windermere neighborhood of Isleworth at the home of NBA star Vince Carter. Those who attended the dinner paid $30,000 per person.
This event was the last stop on a fundraising tour through Florida that yielded $4 million dollars for Obama and the Democrat National Committee reported the Miami Herald.
