Exposing the Liberal Media Complex

We all know that the mainstream media leans left. Through headline messaging, content selection and frequency, and expert contributors, liberal-sympathizers in the media deliberately shape public opinion. Just being aware of this propaganda is not enough. If we do not actively and consciously fight against it, this brainwashing can subtly influence our thinking.

We all remember the beauty pageant contestant a few years back who said that in her family she was raised to believe that marriage is between a man and woman. Because of this response, liberals attacked and belittled her. In cahoots, press investigated every aspect of her life from her breast implants to her childhood friends. Years later, a negative public image still lingers for this lady.

Another case of character assassination is Rick Santorum. As a GOP presidential candidate, he is portrayed as a radical religious zealot for being pro-life and pro-marriage. Even though public polling and voting have shown that a majority of Americans share these same beliefs, the media has successfully labelled Rick Santorum as extreme.

Of course, the worst media attack was against Sarah Palin. We all remember that her campaign wardrobe cost A LOT and that she once wrote keywords on the palm of her hand. We saw unflattering pictures even “sexualized” depictions of Sarah Palin. The media solicited volunteers to help scour 24,000 emails from her years as governor of Alaska, hoping to find damning evidence to cast a bad light on her. They did this all while failing to vet Barack Obama.

Knowing all this about the media, I still have conservative friends that will tell me “Oh, Sarah Palin is too polarizing.” These friends are buying into the liberal narrative!

There are even those in the tea party who want to drop the name “Tea Party” name because it has a negative public image!

So, if you are one who realizes that the media is liberal but you think that they are not shaping your opinion, I’d like to know if you are aware of organizations called Media Matters or Think Progress? If you have not heard of these groups, you have no idea how sinisterly entangled the left media complex is.

Do you realize that some of news stories that you read or see, are TOTALLY fabricated by liberal activists and then pumped to a complicit press?

I have witnessed the paid staff of two Orlando activist groups orchestrate disruptions at political events so that they can create a video and send it to groups like Media Matters or Think Progress. They then spin a “newsworthy” story and feed it to networks or print media, mainly MSNBC or the Orlando Sentinel. This is political theater and the public is led to believe that these paid activists are just ordinary citizens.

This morning, I am pleased to see that THE DAILY CALLER has released the following investigative series on the extremely repugnant Media Matters and how it coordinates with the White House and news organizations:

This is the first in a Daily Caller investigative series on Media Matters For America. Daily Caller reporters Alex Pappas and Will Rahn contributed to this report.

David Brock was smoking a cigarette on the roof of his Washington, D.C. office one day in the late fall of 2010 when his assistant and two bodyguards suddenly appeared and whisked him and his colleague Eric Burns down the stairs.

Brock, the head of the liberal nonprofit Media Matters for America, had told friends and co-workers that he feared he was in imminent danger from right-wing assassins and needed a security team to keep him safe.
